After a long time away from working it is difficult to have the confidence to move closer towards employment. This is where Trac step in!

Caring for a loved one or being a supportive parent, as well as working can be a daunting prospect. However, through Jobcentre Plus, Trac offer a number of training modules tailored to your specific needs. The modules are designed to accommodate your care commitments and provide support on specific aspects of employment.

• Job searching
• CV building
• Interview techniques
• Communication skills

In addition to the modules, we provide training material that highlight valuable information on agencies that can offer practical support regarding your care requirements whilst you work.

The training modules are delivered in four hour bites normally between 10am and 2pm in school term time from our office in Llanelli.

If you are a lone parent or carer that has been out of work for more than 12 months then you access support through the Jobcentre Plus Work Programme. We have Employment Support Centres in Machynlleth, Welshpool, Newtown, Llandrindod Wells, Brecon, Ystradgynlais, Carmarthen, Ammanford, Llanelli - where our advisers are on hand to help you improve your chances of getting a job. Trac have supported over 7,000 people back into work.

Trac are working in partnership with Capital Recruitment and Jobfit to deliver welfare to work programmes in Carmarthenshire & Powys on behalf of Jobcentre Plus.
